I have been a graphic artist/ artist, in one form or another, over 35 years. Since moving to Lake Havasu... from the Chicago area in late 1999, my focus shifted from print and web design to airbrushed boat lettering. When the 2008 recession hit, boat lettering dwindled and forced me to find a supplemental source of income. Through the years, I had made wood jewelry and sculptural pieces for family and friends, then someone suggested pursuing this more seriously. I now create fine art and jewelry from locally sourced wood, sometimes combined with metal or stone, as well as metal yard art. I am still committed to my boat lettering customers and continue to refine my skills as the longest tenured boat lettering guy in Lake Havasu.
