Modern squat sphere ficus bowl.  Yet another neighborhood Ficus tree bit the dust and made it into my wood pile!  The wood began spalting, where water creeps into the grain and turns random parts of it black.  I hand finished up to 600 grit paper, and hand-rubbed tung oil, then polished to a lustrous sheen.  Approx dimensions are 11″ x 7″.
